where I come from and what legacy means to me
THIS IS my WHY -
Motherhood is the most wonderful thing that has ever happened to me. Of course, meeting my husband and getting married was wonderful too, but there is something so compelling about becoming a mother. There really is no other feeling like it in the world. I did not start life dreaming about being a mother like most little girls do, you see, I did not have a mother who raised me. I had a wonderful grandmother who doted on me, but it is not the same as having a mother. Once I had my daughter I fell in love completely. The gift of motherhood is the most precious I have ever received, and I love to capture that gift for my clients. I hope to meet you and capture your unique and precious story in a way that you can treasure forever.

Since childhood, I have had a desire for adventure, and wanderlust deep in my soul. I grew up in the tiny mountains of Southwest Oklahoma riding my horses, exploring the woods, and losing myself in constant daydreams. I have a profound love for nature and all things wild and free, and I love to capture my client’s stories in the most stunning places and unique ways.
I have ALWAYS been a dreamer.

I absolutely adore my family and our life here on the farm. Watching my babies grow up in this beautiful life has been the ultimate blessing for me. I am so blessed to have the hardest working husband who loves his family unconditionally. Watching him teach our children hard work, stewardship of the land, compassion for the animals we raise, and love for the neighbors down the road has been the biggest joy in my life. This live is not always easy, but I wouldn't want any other life.
Sunday night dinners and time with family...
If I am not teaching middle schoolers History, helping my husband on the farm, or chasing my babies, their horses, & show lambs you can find me snuggled up with a good book with a Boston Terrier in my lap. I have always loved to read, and reading is a way for me to get lost in a story and my own imagination. There’s something magical about getting completely immersed in a narrative, where the boundaries of reality fade and the world within the pages becomes all-consuming.

I have been in love with horses since before I can remember. I was riding horses before I could even walk on my own. I have owned horses and competed in rodeo and barrel racing since I was a child. Horses are truly my heart and soul. I can look into their eyes and see their heart, They are the calming presence in my life. The bond I share with them is like nothing I have ever experienced. Horses embody freedom. Their grace, speed, and power in motion evoke a sense of liberation. I feel truly alive and free on the back of a horse.

If I could live anywhere in the world besides our beloved farm I would choose the mountains every time. There is something so majestic and beautiful about them. There’s a unique stillness in the mountains, a quiet that feels different from the hum of everyday life. In the mountains, I can escape the noise of the world and find solitude. The peace that the mountains offer allows my mind to quiet and helps me reconnect with myself in ways that are hard to do in my everyday life. Being in the mountains soothes my soul.
