These sessions are not your typical portrait session. They are real and raw and capture the moments versus the poses. You are not expected to “perform” for me. I don't focus on stiff posing and fake smiles. I encourage you the entire time with prompts and words of affirmation. There is no right or wrong way here. You are in the thick of motherhood mama! I will bring the beauty you don't always see to your family.
What To Expect...
These sessions are for the beautiful mamas (because you totally are!) expecting mamas, and families who want to dance in the meadows, hike the mountains, splash in the creeks, or just snuggle up at home with their babies. Mamas who want to truly let go and just “be,” all while I capture these moments that can never be relived. For one hour I ask you to let go and be your most authentic selves. Snuggle your babies close, embrace your pregnancy, and love on your partner. I love details and emotion, the precious moments of you embracing the rawness of motherhood, or sneaking a sugar from your sweetie… I love everything about these special moments, and I can’t wait to document them for you.

The
Session Experience
Sessions include a sunset session in a unique and stunning location, assistance with styling, wardrobe & access to my client closet, and the best hand painted images from your session. The number of images you receive depends on your collection choice.
A $100 Creative Fee is due upon booking to save your session date. The remaining balance is due one week before your session. If we are taking a journey to an amazing destination, I kindly ask that in addition to the session cost you pay for my travel expenses.

WHAT TYPES OF SESSIONS DO YOU OFFER?
While I love to photograph a multitude of things, motherhood has completely stolen my heart.
I currently specialize in intimate maternity, newborn, family, and motherhood sessions.
WHERE WILL WE TAKE OUR PHOTOS AND WHAT TIME OF DAY?
Rugged and beautiful, my favorite epic location may involve a bit of hiking, but the views are simply breathtaking. The Refuge also features gorgeous trees, colorful rock formations, and stunning open fields with wildflowers, where buffalo and longhorn cattle roam free. Sunset sessions are photographed 1 hour before sunset so we get that gorgeous golden hour lighting! Trust me, you want this light. It is STUNNING!
WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR? WILL YOU HELP STYLE US?
Absolutely! Styling can really make your session more special. I will walk through each step of the styling process with you. I offer the experience of a client closet for my clients, and I have carefully curated a closet of beautiful hand-picked, custom-made, and unique clothing options for mamas and their babies. My client closet is part of my client experience and free for those who choose to book a session with me.
WHAT IS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHIC STYLE?

If you are looking for a traditional sit and smile for the camera, or “say cheese” portraits, then I am not the photographer for you.
WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE OUR IMAGES, HOW MANY DO WE GET, AND CAN WE RRINT THEM?
Once my process is complete you will receive your finished, beautifully hand painted images via online gallery. You will then be able to download your high-resolution images from your online gallery. The number of images you receive depends on the collection choice you make. I encourage you to purchase prints through your online gallery for the best results.
I do not offer a print release for chain store labs such as Walmart or Walgreens.
WHAT IF THE WEATHER GETS WEIRD?
If you have been in Oklahoma long you know we have the CRAZIEST weather here! Unless it is pouring rain or tornadic activity, we will have our session as scheduled. I do not reschedule because it is cloudy or windy. Sometimes the clouds and wind can give a totally different feel to the session.
For travel sessions we will work with whatever mother nature gives us!

You Can Expect
1. You will book your session according to the month you would like to have your session, pay your $100 retainer fee, and sign your portrait contract.
2. You will receive a detailed questionnaire. This will help me get to know more about you and your family so I can better serve you in the season that you are in.
3. Prior to your session I will build a custom wardrobe for your family. We will go over your personal style board and our session location, and finalize it all before your session.
The Process

My son was being so difficult and she still got amazing pictures of him. The pictures turned out absolutely beautiful and are my favorite we have ever done! After the session, my husband actually said he would be willing to take them again if they could be like that. I am so grateful to her for capturing these moments that we will be able to look at and cherish!
Ashley did an amazing job with our family pictures. My husband hates pictures and it had been almost two years since we had taken any family pictures. Once we got there Ashley was so nice and personable. She let us just be a family and snapped authentic, genuine pictures of us.
